Chevy Spark

What do we know about the 2021 Chevy Spark? The outgoing model proved to be a popular seller in the U.S. and Canadian market. This was in spite of the fact the 2020 model saw minimal changes from the model before it. 2021 will see more changes for this beloved mini car. Will it prove to be as reliable as ever?

2021 Changes

First, let’s examine some of the changes in the 2021 model. As with the prior year, the Chevy Spark will retain its naturally aspirated 1.4-liter I-4 LV7 engine. Buyers will have the option between an automatic CVT and five-speed manual transmission. The latter is a really welcome addition, considering only 1.2 percent of vehicles on the road today are stick shift.

Two new colors for the exterior has also been added: Mystic Blue and Cayenne Orange. Two previous colors, Raspberry and Orange Burst, have been omitted. Interior color options include Jet Black, Silver Metallic, and Caribbean Blue.

2021 Chevy Spark Reliability

Reliability is naturally going to be discussed when it comes to compact vehicles. As of now, J.D. Power has yet to rate the vehicle. However, other automotive authorities have chimed in and given the Chevy Spark rave reviews. This includes Car Buzz, rating the compact car number four in its placement of Best Cars under $15,000. Reviewers praised the vehicles for its affordable price, easy maneuverability, low-cost add-ons, and high fuel economy.

In reliability, Car Buzz gave the Chevy Spark an impressive eight out of 10. This makes it a very trustworthy model for your money.
